the office punk-john

One of the top shows I saw over the week of sxsw was the headliner of the Mess with Texas fest at Waterloo Park NOFX who played most all of their Punk in Drublic album! It was a like a dream tour for me from 1994 in the futuristic comfort of 2008. The band is all easily in their 40s now- so why doesn’t some “music television station” do a rock doc series on them? The series, entitled NOFX: Backstage Passport makes me wish I had this music television station “Fuse.” Thankfully you can peep episode previews and video interviews with the band right HERE.
The Fuse program shows the world how amazingly popular the band still is after all these years not just in America but ALL OVER THE WORLD! Fans converge at international airports in Singapore, Peru, Israel, South Africa, Turkey, and Korea and practically shut em down with swarms of fans on their oddball world tour. The four band members and their drunken tour manager act the same way more or less as they have for the past 20 years and now you can enjoy in the sanctity of your home starting April 15th on Fuse. It looks to be a cross between the Monkees, the Office and Jackass. Godbless tv.
