1) Two Words: Kanye Mixtape.  Go download the Kanye Graduate Mixtape from his “blog”.  Good god.  It’s breathes an extremely refreshing gust of life into all of the goodies from his whole catalog.  Mixing in original samples, live versions, unreleased versions, and chilling political freestyles. Kanye’s embrace of French dance beats on the new album are dwarfed by what Mick Boogie, A-trak, 9th Wonder and Terry Urban throw down on this mixtape that is my new favorite release from the most imitated, Grammy nominated, hotel accommodated, cheerleader prom dated, barbershop playa hated dude out there.  Snatch it via send space here before it goes away…   

                             
 2) Check out night two of three at Dismember the Alamo out at the Lake Creek Alamo Drafthouse location.  Tonight kicks off at 7:30 with Dead Alive if I had the time I would grab a lawnmower off craigslist and construct some sort of remarkable zombie killin’ weapon-vest to wear tonight.  And hey- then I would have Halloween all taken care of.  Then at 9:30 comes catch the Unbearables play some tracks from their zombie rock opera album "Just One Bite" while the Alamo’s silver screen plays some of the most classic and most excellent zombie clips behind them.  This part of the festival is free and a one of a kind event.  Then- might as well stick around for the afro-zombie-blaxplotation film Sugar Hill.
