fantasma - luther

Ontario's Owen Pallett is no stranger to the festival stage, which a quick parusal of his recent and near future tour dates will reveal, but the upcoming Fun Fun Fun Fest will be the first time that I've had the chance to see his seemingly one maned act, Final Fantasy, in the festive and open atmosphere of an outdoor stage.

I am curious to see how his folky, offbeat musicianship, one part pop, one part Jandek-esque strangeness with a healthy dollop of layered strings on top will fair in the great hall of the fairground-park. A sound that seems more at home in a dusty attic than a speaker stacked temporary stage, this should prove a pleasant excuse to relax a little between your indie-rock and shoe-gazery. With a track record of spectacular and peculiar live shows and a healthy discography, I have no doubt that Pallett and whomever his on-stage helpers my be will prove to be one of the highlights in an already shining lineup.

that is a pretty funny cover. the crowd goes wild! it will be great to see him at Fun fun fun fun fun fest.

Wow, impressive that he keeps with an insanely rough loop...

I wonder why so many people like to comment stuff. Why is this kind of spending your free time so popular? Maybe people have a lack of communication in real world? Maybe that’s because they have a lot of problems in reality and want to run away from them? Maybe they need new impressions and experience? Or they just got suck here? I don’t have a clue. What do you all think?
