Party Ends

   Tonight! The Boxing Lesson will play a spacey set, which will hopefully be filled with tracks from their forthcoming epic album Wild Steaks & Windy Days.  Hell, who am I kidding- I will be excited to hear tracks from their last EP Songs in the Key of C.  All the songs these guys put out seem to have clever titles and feature layers upon layers of tones from instruments upon instruments.  The Boxing Lesson takes their art very seriously and it has been showing and paying off- they have continued to play better and better shows around town thus building quite a little fan base.  If you haven’t checked them out yet – tonight is the night. So once again- finish watching 30 Rock and the Office and come downtown to make new friends over a heated discussion of Tina Fey’s glasses and reunite with old friends by trading Dwight quotes etc…

   One thing is for sure; the Boxing Lesson will make waves of swooshing cosmo-rock with plenty of moog melodies.  The cosmic boy/girl shoegaze will perfect to see in front of the Beauty Bar's shiny walls with tallboy in hand.

   The whole night is topped off with some giveaways from Modular Records  who is promoting their brilliantly titled new release “Guns Babes Lemonade” from Muscles (not to be confused with the amazing local MVSCLZ)
