As if this show wouldn’t be sick enough alone- we had to go and up it with Pase Rock. Auteur of Lindsay Lohan's Revenge- possibly my favorite track to hear out and about these days. It’s vulgar, its topical, it’s funny and it’s catchy. All of his joints I have are golden (Sexy MF and So Fucking Disco) so I am ultra exited to see him bring the house down. Anyone down with Spank Rock and the Rub should have your respect. “Take yo paaaaanties off / show ya baby rat!” Turntable Lab says it best: “Even the most jaded hater will crack a smile for this one” B Bar is going to be destroyed with gutta breaks, b more bass and hilarious danceable profanity. Prepare your self with some supplies from TTL.
Opening is hometown superstar hero Prince Klassen. Last time I caught Klassen was at the Flight of the Conchords advance screening we helped host at the Alamo Drafthouse downtown (RIP) he spun all sorts of new ish that was perfect for a theatre full of people quoting a TV show, I can’t wait to see him use that record collection to warm up the glittery Beauty Bar dancefloor.
