explosions in the sky - luther (dallas,tx)

So, as usual, I skipped out on a show recently and have come to really regret my slothful ways. This time the regretably neglected musicians were Animal Collective at a show that is now being reffered to as one of the best performances to come through Dallas all year. Damn it. Anyway, I'll just have to suck it up and move on, and to help me along the way the fine young men of AC have given us a new music video featuring the first track that I've heard off of the upcoming record Strawberry Jam, which sounds like it might even be better than thier somewhat revolutionary (evolutionary?) previous offerings.

It seems that, with how good Panda Bear turned out to really be, the group actually has an even higher bar to jump than it did following Feels. This is a very fourth of July centric video, which is why I didn't post it yesterday, combining their charming embrace of silliness with the outright enjoyability of their tallent for making big, beautiful, stange music. I also got ahold of the song by itself, if you want to listen to it sans-moving pictures.

Thats a long video man. I like it though, it's so home made looking.

Blah-blah-blah. I don’t care about you opinion, your words mean nothing to me. I’m big, bad and always just.

Hell yeah! This post sounds really good. Reading your blog is useful and interesting. Keep it that way.
