The end of Season three of Lost is upon us and I am getting more and more excited to see what sort of mindfuck Ben has up his sleeve and what is up with Jacob?! I have loved the show for years- I love talking about the show I love watching the show I love yelling at the TV when the dissonant trumpet sound announces the arrival of a commercial/formulaic cliff hanger. I am NOT excited about the announcement of 3 more seasons! This basically means I will watch 47 hours of filler and about 45 minuets of killer the next three years of my life. Yes, until 2010 I will cancel social obligations, neglect family and drink beer on Wednesday nights. I will continue to ask- “what the fuck was that statue with the four toes?”

Now, further onto my nerd TV pedestal. Go rent / but the one and only season of Firefly. I have avoided Joss Whedon mania but finally gave into this amazing sci-fi show. The development of the characters that takes place in such a short time is remarkable. The series starts slow and progresses to complete amazingness. Firefly, man, Firefly. Here I am in 2007 realizing this. My dad asked me the other day if I had ever heard of Oasis… I am sure that I sound like that to some of you…
