By now you should now that you have a friend you can count on once a month for a good time, with good music and good beer- Draft Sessions. Don’t get me wrong- there are other things going on in Austin this Saturday, April 21st, but nothing with a $5 dollar suggested donation, free Independence Beer and an amazing lineup that gives me chills just thinking about it (the Lovely Sparrows and AM Syndicate) even comes close to thouching this. To add radicality to dopeness- Markus with a K will be keeping things going on the turntables throughout, so come partake in the exceptionally good Texas weather, music and beer!
It does a body good to get off the beaten path of Red River and the overall downtown now and then, and that option is what we have helped bring you. Come into South Austin (directions) and see a great bill that stands out as like a bottle of Jack Daniels at a Mormon wedding. The Lovely Sparrows have a lot of members playing a lot of instruments, creating a full, lush sound. The part Neutral Milk Hotel and part Okkervil River formula has critics all over the country taking notice of their hand screened EP Pulling Up Floors, Pouring on (New) Paint and we are thrilled to have them on board. Later in the evening the rich soundscapes of AM Syndicate will be taking over and blowing people away with their violin rock. What better way to spend a Saturday night than drinking free beer, and having your head explode, musically, at a brewery? Be sure to bring some extra cash for bar tips and for a commemorative (larger) pint glass.
This event also happens to coincide with the Brewers Association Craft Brewers Conference, so the place will be crawling with some of the most talented and well-respected beer makers out there. This is a great chance to show them all some of that old fashioned Texas hospitality… and you know… tell them how good beer tastes.

I’m sure it’s not true! If it was, nothing lake that would have been posted! It sounds so weird! I doubt that anyone would ever believe it!
