   Hey Austinites & Austinitettes, it's Thursday night again, and you know what that means: 'there's something fun happening at a bar that you probably shouldn't go to because you still have to work tomorrow, but it's almost the weekend and you've never really been known for your good judgement anyway, so you're going to go and maybe regret it in the morning'. TGIT! Word.

   Tonight the event to be at is honoring a place you have probably spent many Thursday nights (and Friday nights, and Saturday nights, and SXSW days), the Beauty Bar. It's their one year anniversary, and they are bringing the celebratory felicitations to you, the consumer. Headlined by seminal locals the Octopus Project, and with DJ sets by Dana, Brian Tweedy, and Prince Klassen, it should be a grand ordeal. The hosted bar is from 9 to 10:30, so get there early.
