keep austin beard - john (austin,tx)

Tonight at the illustrious Club DeVille, home of Austin’s strongest drinks and best patio-encompassing wall to talk about scaling while drinking said strong drinks- Misprint Magazine is hosting the best idea I have ever heard. A night of facial hair! The festivities include bearded comedy hosted by local yuckster Matt Bearden, Facial Hair contests, and the best part live toonz from a real life ZZ Top Cover band Sharp Dressed Men, who have real life ZZ Top beards! Stay Gold will be providing the prerecorded beard rock on vinyl and on laptops thru out!
All my bets are on Grant, the drummer from the Laughing, who is a shoe in winner for most of the categories unless some dark horse competitor comes out of the wood work. Other contenders include that tall guy who bartends at Emo’s and the Drummer from the Invincible Czars. Is it illegal to place bets on this shit?
For those who will be competing in the various categories: Gnarliest Beard, Sweetest 'Stache, Fiercest Chops, Best Groomed Beard, Freestyle Facial Hair, and Ladies' Division; I wish you all the best of luck. Please don’t make fun of my inability to do anything manly, especially grow facial hair.
See you at Club Deville around 9pm! Misprint shindigs never fail!

Those cannot be real beards on that cover band! they sort of look real, but that would sure be dedication.
