Party Ends

   Well dudes and dudettes, thank God it's finally that time of year again. SXSW is on the horizon, and the parties are almost in sight. While it's wonderful that all you trust fund babies can buy those shiny wristbands, I heartily endorse coming to Austin just for the parties, afterparties, and day parties. If your johnny on the spot with your RSVPing, and I mean starting now, you will still be torn between what really cool thing to go to every hour of every day. All the free drinks don't help in the decision making process either. 

   It's still early in the game, but the names are already pouring in. Mind you, this is a place to see new music thats coming in, but here are just a few groups and individuals that I already know I want to see: 

   Bloc Party, Interpol, RJD2, Girl Talk, Winterkids, Octopus Project, Wierd Weeds, Theater Fire, Peter and the Wolf, Aqueduct, Okkervil River, Great Lakes, The Walkmen, The Young Knives, Snowden, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Morrissy, Envelopes, and Thunderbirds Are Now!

   This is barely scratching the enormous surface of who will be in town that weekend. We will do our best to keep you updated with our little corner of preffered events, including parties, showcases, house parties, and day shows. Mind you, this is where, last year, I was surprise introduced to already classic artists, the likes of Spank Rock and Uffie. So check out this photo gallery from last years highlights, listen to a couple of choice tracks from artists we are looking forward to, and check back, because this will be priority numero uno for us for a while.
