party ends presents: draft sessions! - john (austin,tx)
I am proud to announce the next Party Ends event in Austin Texas! This one is dubbed “Draft Sessions” and we will be presenting the masses with independent music and independent beer on January 20th of 2007.

This will be the first in a monthly series that PartyEnds.com, along with Independence Brewery , Raw Word Records , Insane-In-The-Meshbane Productions, Starke Circus and Groove Labs , have put together. We have all spent a lot of time and energy on this, and as a result we have CLAP! CLAP! and Foot Foot playing the first show! These are both bands that we dig and even if we didn’t – the novelty of two bands with only two repeated words between them is pretty tough to pass up. A $5 suggested donation to the bands gets you (and your karma) in the door and complimentary beverages provided by the fine folks at Independence Brewery. A commemorative cup will also be available for purchase.
DRAFT SESSIONS! Saturday January 20th 2007 at Independence Brewery (directions) 8pm-12am be there. Foot Foot was described in Spin Magazine as “just plain out of their minds” and any one who has ever been to or even heard about a Clap! Clap! show knows that they “love to clap/ dance more than anybody.” Really. They have songs written about it. Clap! Clap! is a long time PartyEnds favorite who is doing us a solid and coming out of studio recording hibernation to play this oh so special of shows. Oh, and the delicious beer is a plus too. Draft Sessions will be taking place monthly and will continually feature the best in local music. Please join us for the inaugural kick off!
Go listen to Clap! Clap! here. And then listen to Foot Foot here.
