rotten halloween - john

So, I’m getting ready for Halloween the other night by reading some old “Goosebumps” aloud to a group a friends around a campfire and I find myself wondering- what is old R.L. Stine up to these days? There actually is some news about my favorite spooky psudeonamed author.  Variety reports that Twentieth Century Fox has “picked up film rights to R.L. Stine’s children’s book series “The Rotten School.”  Maybe it’s because I’m in my twenties and am losing my edge in the realm of book fair best sellers… but I have never heard of the Rotten School.  The series’ slogan is “Growth. Learning. Pizza.”  This is MY slogan too!

I know about Stine’s Goosebumps and Fear Street but nothing about the Rotten School.  They sound as amazing as ever though.  The books are about a wacky boarding school student who is always scheming against his teachers and rival students.  Yes!

Some of the titles in the series include: “the Big Blueberry Barf-Off!” “The Teacher From Heck,” and “Party Poopers” which comes out in November.  Check a book fair near you.  Or ask a young child.  This is the sort of content you should come to know and respect from PartyEnds- updates on the cutting edge tween literature and the subsequent movie deals.

Here are some spooky Halloween tracks for you!
