"a sea of retarted sexuality" - luther
It seems, to me, that the little guys are starting to rule the dance floor, and I'm just not talking about Prince. Apparently, almost noone notable can make a descent dance song these days (with the exception of Justin Timberlake) and every time I go to a club the depression of being confronted by the top 40 of today sort of has the opposite effect than it's meant to. Dominated by sort of updated versions of turn of the century (2000) sounds and a bunch of guest rappers trying to validate a sub par record, I think we can all agree that we are floating in the dolldrums of the Clearchannel's. So here are a few glimmers of light in new, on the edge dance music that, in all honesty, I would like to see make it big just so I might actually hear them on the wheels of steel next time I want to get down in a public place.

Since the links to download songs from these fine artists myspace pages don't seem to work, here are thier myspace pages themselves:
Myspace page: Small Sins
Myspace Page: Clap Clap
Myspace Page: Hyper Bubble
Myspace Page: The Octopus Project
I would even be exstatic to hear some new Peaches 'in da club'
