There are a lot of things I’m excited about at our upcoming Dirty Work SXSW show, not the least of which is the wide array of dance-tastic DJ & hip-hop acts we have lined up, both inside and out, but one of the top picks for the day is the much hyped, P-fork loved rock stylings of Brooklyn’s Keepaway. I’ve yet to hear anything in their airy, indie repertoire that I wasn’t impressed with and to accompany one of their better tracks, Yellow Wings, is a humorous, but strangely appropriate new music video. An un-synchronized, seemingly un-ironic, totally Gob magic show, shot on not terrible, but certainly not flattering digital video, bounces and pirouettes atop the catchy, teetering, snare driven tune.
