I am terribly looking forward to spending tomorrow off from work and drinking craft brews and eating copious amounts seasonal veggie treats with good friends. But for my internet friends, I thought I would point you in the right direction for some Thanksgiving toonz.
First up- if you haven’t grabbed Prince Klassen’s epic Fall mix that touches on Yo La Tengo, Radiohead and even Q-Tip then you haven’t enjoyed the leaves falling or hoodies and you should be ashamed of yourself. This is the second installment Klassen has whipped up for Cloud Plum, a site kind enough to not complain that I am directing you to grab it from their bandwidth here:

What mildly food related post would be complete with out a song I first heard on Fat Wreck Chords Short Music for Short People compilation by the Descendants titled I Like Food. It is 19 seconds long and that is about all you need to peak your interest.

Here is a nice old timey country song that seems pretty perfect for chopping, marinating and ultimately eating. It comes from this fellow pictured to the right : Fiddlin’ Doc Roberts. I have been enjoying his music thanks to this great hilbilly country blog! Head over there and grab even more free tracks from the good Doc.

Lastly, Kinks frontman Ray Davies has a song that is blatantly obvious for the occasion and bears a good “blogosphere” resurgence.

Have a great day and thanks as always for stopping by!
