The weekend has ended and with it goes a highly successful second annual Connect the Dots music festival in Beaumont. The fest showcased a plethora of Austin artists to a highly appreciative town. Kudos to Robert and Joe from La Snacks for all their hard work in putting it together and more importantly, pulling it off. Viva conecte los dots! The festival was landmark in that it was the last show of the La Snacks incarnation as we know and love it. Guitarist Joe Deshotel is retiring with visions of running for president one day.

The weekend also consisted of plenty of Octoberfest brews and a fair amount of saying “shawrty” into the ‘I Am T Pain’ iPhone app.
