There is a cool show inside Stubb’s tomorrow night (February 3rd) as The Submarines and  The Morning Benders are making a stop in Austin on their co-headlining tour.  The Submarines are LA indie poppers who have had their music featured in the opening title sequence of Weeds, on Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, as well as had the main characters on Nip/Tuck lip sync their music on the season 4 finale.  Not too shabby of a music licensing resume. I wonder if hordes of local tv junkie’s will come out to see them in person.  The Morning Benders are 4 dudes from Berkley who play laid back double tracked vocal ridden pop somewhere along the lines of Bishop Allen and the Shins.  Their full-length is out now on  +1 Records. From what I have heard it is excellent!  Check out the “single” below!
