Hey everybody look-I have a guest post up over at BreaGrant.com about some of my favorite Austin bands.  Brea is a star of NBC’s Heroes where she plays a cool thief who can run super duper fast.  Brea has appeared on Friday Night Lights and has a cool role in Max Payne which means I bet she can do a much better Andy Samburg impersonating Mark Wahlberg impersonation than me.  When Brea isn’t answering emails from uber fanboys about if her character could beat the Flash or not she apparently reads PartyEnds.com.  Awesome.

You will surely be needing something to listen to while reading the rest of the internet….. so cop this: The Rub’s DJ Eleven put out a perfect mix for this weather of ours.  The whole mix features somber and somewhat morose tunes from the likes of Sam Cooke, The Clash, UGK, and Al Green.  It is moody, atmospheric and does the job of reminding you that you need to bundle up and fill your thermos with hot chocolate…. and maybe a little Tito’s.
